Meet Coach Muachee

My Story

My name is Coach Muachee, though many of the boys know me as Coach Mooch. It’s truly a pleasure to meet all of our new players and parents, as well as reconnect with our returning families.

A little about my background — I’ve been involved in soccer for over 20 years, playing competitively at various levels, including Competitive 3 and Competitive 1 in my younger years, along with college experience at Modesto Community College, before club soccer programs were widely available. In addition, I’ve competed in high-level leagues and tournaments such as the Spanish Premier League, Hispanic leagues, indoor competitions, Hmong New Year tournaments, and Hmong MN J4.

My passion and love for the game led me into coaching about three years ago. I started as an assistant coach and now serve as a head coach with FC Fresno Academy U13. During that time, we’ve won a Spring League Championship in the Gold Division and have consistently competed at a high level, earning multiple runner-up finishes. I currently hold my coaching license and am working toward obtaining my USSF D License.

One of my biggest goals is to help make soccer more accessible for all youth in our community. Through free training opportunities, I hope to provide young players with a positive environment to learn, grow, and develop their love for the game. I’m passionate about helping guide players and families through the different soccer pathways, whether that means recreational soccer, competitive club soccer, or higher levels of play, while helping each athlete grow both on and off the field.

Outside of soccer, I’m also a proud father of three sons who play high-level club soccer, so I understand firsthand the commitment, time, and sacrifices that come with the sport. Through the years, I’ve built a strong relationship with players, coaches, and community members that continue to help me learn and grow.

I know the challenges that come with busy schedules, constant practices, and those quick meals in between — it’s all part of the journey. I’m excited to bring my experience, passion, and knowledge to help our student-athletes develop not only as players, but as individuals both on and off the field.

I look forward to building a strong future together as one community and one team.
